The KERBHOLZ was conceived to provide an innovative solution to the enduring challenges of carrying and organizing gear encountered when using a backpack (size M: approximately 45+15 liters; size L: approximately 50+15 liters).
Its major asset is its entirely novel pivot system, specially developed in the field, which allows for a high degree of freedom of movement during walking and provides truly exceptional comfort (video).
Equipped with an original, robust, highly customizable, and intelligently accessorized ergonomic design, it's a highly versatile bag, suitable for everything from a two-day bivouac to an ambitious multi-week trek, including daily skiing or snowshoeing.
Its back length is adjustable (size M: from 1.65m to 1.80m; size L: from 1.75m to 1.90m).
Thanks to its specifically adjustable belt and its straps with adjustable spacing, it is suitable for all body types.

  • Backpack body :

    • 3 compartments accessible through waterproof front zip openings. One also acts as a removable partition.
    • Design allowing easy and quick access to the inside of the bag, whether loaded or empty, even when carrying various accessories on the outside.
    • 6 external pockets, including 2 front pockets (waterproof zippers); 1 front pocket (expandable mesh + flap); 2 large compressible side pockets with dual entry + strap closure (allowing easy access to water bottles); 1 top back pocket with Velcro closure (compatible with hydration system); 1 bottom back pocket with Velcro closure (for storing a rain cover - not included).
    • 3 interior zippered pockets, including 2 in mesh; 1 in fabric with a keychain holder.

    • Height adjustable by independent sliding of the shoulder straps (M: for walkers from 1.65m to 1.80m, L: for walkers between 1.75m and 1.90m).

    Shoulder straps :

    • "S"-shaped, equipped with a stiffener (removable), with fasteners for wrist rest, elastic fastening for poles, hose passage for hydration system.
    • Adjustable width.
    • 20mm chest strap adjustable in height with tightening buckle + whistle.

    Belt :

    • Mounted on a 3D pivot for optimal carrying comfort, in two parts (removable) adjustable according to body types (also available in size M and L); equipped with a left accessory strap, pocket buckles (included) on the right.
    • Modular pocket with snap buttons, equipped with a compartment for a mobile phone or GPS system and a keychain, removable and attachable to various parts of the bag.
